Hi
....
The festive season is now in full swing, we hope that you had a good Christmas, we certainly did! Since the last Newsletter, we've had excellent performances by the Melomanics Duo (on the 25th November) and Rob Chapman on Christmas Eve. We had a great party night on Christmas Eve, you can see some of the photos by clicking here, and we're looking forward to another great night on New Years Eve, when we'll have live music from the band '2CV' ~ kicking off at around 10pm. New Years Eve is fancy dress night ~ and whilst not compulsory we're offering bottles of Champagne to the best dressed guy and gal. We're welcoming the Beagles on New Years day; another great country tradition. Other events happening in the New Year are our Darts Knockout on the evening of the 2nd; also we'll be recommencing our popular winter Pub Quizzes on Wednesday the 10th, which will run twice a month (on the 2nd. and 4th Wednesdays) with the next one on the 24th. We'll be celebrating Burns Night on Thursday the 25th, with the Haggis being piped into the bar with all appropriate pomp and ceremony! So you can see that we've got lots going on and we're currently planning even more for later in the year. Have a very Happy New Year and we hope to see you soon, at 'The Royal Oak' ... ....
