This is the information page for The Royal Oak Newsletter. This is a free, permission-based Newsletter, distributed monthly to subscribers, detailing news and events at 'The Royal Oak' Pub and Restaurant in Cardington, Shropshire. We do not knowingly send unsolicited Newsletters.
Privacy Policy. We use your information solely for the advertising, marketing and public relations of our own business; specifically for our Newsletter and our Prize Draw. We will not disclose your details to third parties. Winners of the Prize Draw will have their name published in the Newsletter. If you unsubscribe from our Newsletter service your details will be removed from our active mailing list. We comply, as policy, with the eight principles of the Data Protection Act, click here [external link] for more details. List Management Policy. Email addresses that fail to deliver are removed from our mailing list after five consecutive, failed attempts (including retries) - typically after three consecutive Newsletters. New Email addresses that fail to deliver, which are those that have never worked, are removed after three consecutive attempts. Removed subscribers may rejoin the list using the 'subscribe' function described below. Inappropriate or abusive names or email addresses will not be admitted to our mailing list. Inclusion of names and email addresses on our mailing list is at our discretion.
Subscribe / Unsubscribe Details. To subscribe, send an email with the word 'subscribe' in the title (subject line), and your name, to at.the.oak@googlemail.com. To unsubscribe, send an email with the word 'unsubscribe' in the title (subject line) to at.the.oak@googlemail.com. Only use this email address for this purpose as it is monitored on a monthly basis; for any other queries please contact us at inntoxicated@gmail.com.
Prize Draw Details. The Prize Draw will take place approximately monthly for the advertised prize during those months where the draw is active. All names submitted since the previous draw will be included in the current draw. Entries must comprise both a name and current, valid email address (for re-enteries, when you are already on our mailing list, just your name will suffice). You may re-enter the Prize Draw on a monthly basis by re-adding your name to the collection bowl, on the bar, during each month that the draw is active, up to one entry per person per month. Winners will be notified by email. The name of the winner will be published in the Newsletter. The prize is to be collected from Steve or Eira at The Royal Oak by the winner or their representative. Alcoholic prizes will only be made available to winners (and their representatives) over the age of 18 years and proof of age may be requested. The prize will be kept for 3 months pending collection from the date that the winner was notified by email. The prize has no equivalent cash value.
